These following lists have been taken from Saral-Sanskrit-Sarani Parts I and II, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry.
The best use of these lists can only be made with the two books. You can order the books directly from Sri Aurobindo Books Distribution Agency (SABDA). The cost is minimal and the books are perfect aids in learning Sanskrit.
These lists are presented in this form so that it's easy to search for a particular dhaatu (root) quickly. Open the file in a browser and search using CTRL+F (Edit -> Find and Replace).
Dr Narendra of Sanskrit Karyalaya, Sri Aurobindo Ashram has kindly permited me to put these lists here. He is quite concerned about the accuracy. I have taken due care but in case something doesn't seem right, please consult the original books. These lists will tell where to find that root-form in the two books. These lists will at least make it easy for you to locate, what you are looking for, in the books.
The html lists below are in Unicode. Please choose the Unicode option for viewing documents in your browser via View->Encoding->Unicode(UTF-8). This will use the default Unicode fonts.
Itrans transliteration scheme has been used in the txt files. A perl script is used to generate itx files and then itrans program is used to generate the html files in Unciode.
