Command Systems Laboratory

The Command Systems Laboratory is located within the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, The University of New South Wales, Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra.

The Command Systems Laboratory's principal activities include:

  • research in command systems, decision-support systems and related areas,
  • research in communications systems, particularly in bandwidth-sparse environments,
  • participation in development of international standards,
  • delivery of specialist courses,
  • coordination of the annual MilCIS Conference, and
  • editing of the Journal of Battlefield Technology.
