Digital Signal Processing

TEXT BOOKS

There is no prescribed text book for this course. This is because DSP is a rapidly changing area of technology. The most useful reading is usually found in the applications notes/manuals for a particular DSP. However, for supporting reading for this course I would recommend the following texts:

  • Introductory Digital Signal Processing with computer applications, 2nd Ed., Lynn and Fuerst, Wiley pub.
  • Digital Signal Processing – A Practical Approach, Ifeachor and Jervis, Addison Wesley pub.
  • Digital Signal Processing – Principles, Algorithms, and Applications, 2nd Ed., Proakis and Manolakis, Maxwell-MacMillan pub.
  • Digital Signal Processing – Concepts & Applications, Mulgrew, Grant & Thompson, MacMillan Press Ltd pub.
  • A Course in Digital Signal Processing, Boaz Porat, John Wiley & Sons, Inc. pub.
