Professional Activities

• Founder Chairman of the IEEE ACT Section (1988-91)
  I founded the Australian Capital Territory Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, New York (IEEE) and held the position of Chairman of the ACT Section of IEEE for three years. During this time I represented the Section in the IEEE Region 10 meetings held in Bali, Indonesia; Penang, Malaysia and Madras, India; and the Sections Congress 90 held in Toronto, Canada.
